stress relief

What is your favorite stress-reliever? When you have had a really rough day or a really hard week, what is the one thing that can relax you and help you calm down and feel better?

I need some serious stress relief.

Baking! There is nothing more stress relieving to me than to knead dough.

Also, ice cream. Yum.

Getting a really good work out. I love to go to the gym and sweat it out!

Cleaning my house is really good for me as well

I read blogs. :-)

Also, like Shirley Temple said, baking is a big stress relief for me. Make bread and knead that dough like there's no tomorrow!

And I love to go on walks - without having to bring the kids along!

I am not a big shopper, in fact I don't like to do it unless I have to. But when I am really stressed, and I mean it has been building up for at least a couple of weeks, I want to shop just to spend money. And this is so insane because a part of my stress is paying bills. I am feeling this way now, and it is driving me crazy. I live out in the boonies, so it is not easy for me to go shopping. I have to plan a whole day, and of course I don't want to take the kids so I have to find a babysitter. But I am potty training my little boy, so I can't leave him. Sorry, I had to vent.

Sex! HAHAH.

Or a good work out.

Or a good book.

Or just zoning out in front of the TV.

Also, my girlfriends and I do a girl's night out once a month and just go to dinner and chat and unwind and vent and have fun. THE BEST!

Shopping alone or going and getting my nails done or a pedicure. Eating some french fries by myself, with a big Coke, LOL. That sounds heavenly.

When I'm totally stressed out, I vent to my husband. I just let it all out. He listens and then I feel better.

It depends, but I love to:

Go out for happy hour with friends;
Take my sweetie out and shoot some pool;
Read;
Watch craptacular TV;
Sleep in!
