Sorry to those of you who are sick of hearing about this, as it is a question directed as those who have had my surgery. I had a D&C hysteroscopy and a Dx Laparoscopy done at the end of April to try to correct my Endometriosis. Yes, it's me again...sorry.
Everything went great. I had a little rougher and longer recovery than most people, but I also had a LOT of damage in my uterus that needed to be taken out. My stitches are healed and everything looks good. I am now on continuous birth control, as we are not ready to have a baby yet. Everything seems okay except that I am cramping ALL THE TIME! It feels like I am on my first day of my period. It's awful, and the cramping comes at random times during the day...every day. And they are BAD cramps. Cramps that tense up my body and make me double over until they are gone..
To those of you who had this surgery (I know there are a couple of you), did this happen to you? Is it normal? I know I need to just go in and see my doctor, but I really don't want to pay him MORE MONEY to go in and have him tell me it's normal when I am already paying off the $2,000 I owe him for my surgery...
Any help or insight before I call him?

Have you tried just calling and talking to the nurse (or doc)? That's free. Hope you feel better.
No, that doesn't sounds normal AT ALL. This really did happen to a friend of mine: she had a laporoscapy, and afterward she had bad cramping for the longest time. She finally went back to her doctor, they did an ultrasound, and found that the doctor had accidentally left a handful of staples inside of her.
Anyways, do you have a follow-up attp. scheduled? You could bring it up then...
Let us know!
I had a post-op appointment two weeks after the surgery when he basically asked me how I was feeling (good, considering) and prescribed me lo-estrin continuous birth control, and then we scheduled another appointment for like 4 months from then (so in like August) to see how I'm doing on the birth control..
Maybe I should just try calling again?
For sure call him again!
I remember cramping a couple weeks after, but not for too long (but it's been a few years and maybe I just forgot about that part??).
Sucks to say, but I would make another appointment. Maybe something is going on and your Dr needs to know about it. Also, maybe the birth control isn't the right one for you? I think the right birth control is going to make ALL the difference. I remember having to try a few different kinds before I found something that worked for me.
Sorry to hear you're still having issues. Call your Dr and let us know what happens.
