Please tell me good places in Utah to camp. I am looking at booking summer camping, and am looking for good campgrounds! TIA.

Logan Canyon (only in the summer months... otherwise you'll freeze!) I can't remember the name of the campsite, but it is at the summit of Logan Canyon, before it dips down to the Bear Lake valley. Amazing views!
1. Jordan Pines up Big Cottonwood Canyon. 20 minutes from the city. 2. Moab is awesome with a ton of good camping. 3. Topaz Mountain out near Delta, if you like rocks. 4. Mirror Lake in the Uintas. 5. Wasatch Mountain by Heber (and the golf course)
Thanks for the ideas. When you say rocks at Topaz, does that mean literally dirt and rocks or is it like Goblin valley? I have 3 boys, so it may actually be a fun place...
I am from that area (Delta) and I don't really think it is that great. But, people don't usually think the places they are from are that great. Deb, are you from that area?

You would have to really like rocks to camp out at Topaz Mountain. There is nothing for miles.

There are rocks to climb on and there are also gem stones you can find, such as: topaz (imagine that)and geodes.
One thing to look out for with small boys is the fact that there are several dangerous mine shafts in the area.

No, I'm not from Delta. Personally, I prefer a greener area, but little boys might like looking for gem stones.
