As for not being able to conceive after one or two pregnancies, I wouldn't worry too strongly about infertility just yet. As has been mentioned, you're barely off the IUD. Most fertility clinics won't treat a patient unless you've been unsuccessfully trying to conceive for a full year.

With my first baby I got pregnant on birth control. Four weeks after I found out I was pregnant. And I'm more worried because there is a history in my family of not being able to conceive after one or two pregnancies.

I called my doctor and he said that if I don't have a period in the next 4 weeks he's going to put my on a medication that helps regulate your cycles so we can actually get pregnant. Thanks all.

I can't figure out why you're worrying about it. It hasn't even been a month since you last bled. Have some freaking patience - you do know that the average time it takes to get pregnant is 6-12 months, right? Sorry to be so snappy - it just seems like there's someone on here once a week whining about not getting pregnant two hours after they went off of birth control. I could see you asking if you took out your IUD and didn't have a period for four months, but it's been four weeks! Relax.

Also, just because you bleed doesn't mean that it's a typical (or ovulatory) period. You can bleed without having a "normal" cycle.

O.P. here,

I had a period the month before and according to my cycle the 2 weeks I bled could have been my period. Which means I would have ovulated. Make sense?

You can't possibly be pregnant unless you've ovulated, and it's very possible that you haven't ovulated yet if it's only been six weeks since you took the IUD out. Sit back and wait a little while and things will eventually start to work as normal.
